The invention relates to a metal holder for a quartz piezoelectric sensor device based on volumetric electromechanical ("acoustic") vibrations, applicable in the field of chemistry, biology, and medicine, and in particular for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the dynamics of freezing and thawing of various cell and tissue suspensions. According to the proposed configuration of the holder, copper has been chosen as the material for the main mechanical parts due to its excellent thermal conductivity. There are two main parts - circular lower and upper parts with dimensions of 50 mm, fixed to each other by two M4 screws. The lower part (1) is designed with a first circular technological bed (1.1) for placing the quartz resonator (piezoelectric sensor). The bed has a diameter of 25.6 mm and a depth of 0.2 mm, ensuring free installation of the sensor. A first technological channel (1.2) with a width of 5 mm and a two-step opening (1.3) with a diameter of 2.5 mm have been made, which are necessary for the installation of the electrical part of the holder - a coaxial cable with a cross-section of 2 mm and a length of 100 mm, designed to minimize signal loss during transmission from the oscillator generator to the quartz resonator, and a BNC connector providing the generator-sensor connection. Two M4 threaded holes (1.4) are drilled in the lower part of the metal holder for attachment to the upper part, with an intermediate step (1.5) with an outer surface diameter (1.6) of 27 mm. Accordingly, the design of the upper part (2) is such that a technological clearance is provided between the two parts when they are assembled, i.e. between element (1.5) and the second circular technological bed (2.1) with a diameter of 25.6 mm, in order to eliminate the risk of a short circuit in the sensor's electrical circuit. A second technological channel (2.2) with a width of 7 mm has also been made to ensure easy installation of the electrical circuit components. An opening (2.3) with a diameter of 19 mm was made on the upper surface of position (2) to provide access to the active area of the sensor, and two holes (2.4) were drilled to fix the two parts of the holder with M4 screws.
