Abstract

An electrolysis cell comprising a housing, fastening components, and working current collectors, wherein the housing (1) is made of an aluminum alloy and consists of two cylindrical elements interconnected by fastening components (2), wherein a Teflon core (3) is mounted vertically in the central part of the housing (1), in the center of which a recess is machined with a membrane electrode assembly (4) installed within it, including a membrane core and working current collectors (5). In the housing (1), four gas working chambers (6) are symmetrically formed horizontally and vertically with respect to each other, separated by Viton "O" rings (7), and four holes for incoming/outgoing reagents (8) are formed at an angle, symmetrical in pairs vertically, while an external current collector/conductor (9) is located along the central axis of the housing (1), and radially and parallel to it, a current collector for a reference electrode (10) is arranged. On the periphery of the housing (1), outside the Teflon core (3), holes for an additional heater/thermocouple (11) are machined, and on the upper surface of the housing (1), diametrically relative to the center, an incoming gas hole to the reference electrodes (12) and an outgoing gas hole from the reference electrodes (13) are formed.
