A modular electrolysis cell for the production of an oxyhydrogen mixture, comprising a housing and passive and active electrodes, wherein the housing (1) has a cylindrical shape, is made of a polymer material with mounting holes (9) along the periphery, and the housing (1) accommodates at least two stacked active electrodes (4) and parallel to them at least two stacked passive electrodes (5), which are separated from each other by insulating "O"-rings (6). Each electrode (4) consists of two solid metal plates (14) and (16), and each electrode (5) consists of two solid metal plates (14); furthermore, a multi-layer pressed sieve mesh (15) is placed between the plates of each electrode (4) and (5). The housing (1) is closed by two outer square plates (2) mechanically secured to it by fastening bolts (7) arranged in a circle, and functional holes for electrolyte circulation and gas venting (13) are formed in the outer plates (2) inside the circle of the fastening bolts (7), while holes (12) for current conductors (8) and holes for securing the entire cell (11) are located along the periphery. A seal (3) is installed between the outer plates (2) and the active electrode (4), with the active (4) and passive (5) electrodes and the seal (3) having functional holes (18), and the upper part of one metal plate (16) of the electrode (4) extends outside the housing (1), in which part a hole (17) is also machined for current conductors (8).
